A stone's throw from the Scheldt River, you'll find St. Paul's Church. The former Dominican monastery church from 1571 will not leave you indifferent. In St. Paul's Church you will discover beautiful baroque altars and furniture. With over two hundred statues and more than fifty paintings, there is something to see throughout the church.
Paintings by Jordaens, Rubens, Teniers, Van Balen and Van Dyck, among others, give St. Paul's Church its unique appearance. Moreover, they still are in the very spot they were designed for four hundred years ago.
You will also visit the impressive Calvary Garden. This garden seems to have come straight out of a movie set and was nicknamed The New Jerusalem.
