Strolling through the station district: from Central Station to multicultural hotspots

Not only the monumental Central Station but the entire somewhat dilapidated station area has received a stylish facelift in recent years. Thanks to radical restorations and contemporary accents, this neighbourhood has again become a lively district with charisma.

During the walk, we sweep through the spectacularly renovated Central Station and the impressive high-rise buildings of the Kievit district, as if we were in a music video. Your guide also pauses to highlight some characteristic aspects of the station district, such as its nightlife, the international diamond trade, the strong Jewish presence, Chinatown and the former red-light district, which has since disappeared.
