The Antwerp Baroque is not only about art, but also about the art of living. Like baroque, the true Antwerper is dynamic, generous, exuberant and anything but modest.

During the baroque walk, you will pass by some new giant colourful murals or murals where the old baroque meets hip street art.

During the Baroque Walk, you will discover numerous historic Baroque elements in the city. The imposing facades, magnificent gates and richly decorated statues are real gems. Moreover, they are part of a very fascinating history full of amusing anecdotes. Furthermore, you will discover how Rubens, the godfather of Antwerp Baroque, also continues to inspire contemporary artists.

Additional information:

  • Only suitable for those with good mobility. Due to the length (2.5 km), cobblestones, narrow footpaths here and there and no rest areas during this walk, we do not recommend this to those with walking difficulties and wheelchair users, even if accompanied.
