IMPORTANT: contact uantwerpen@kgva.be before booking.

Antwerp University has an important collection of, mainly contemporary art: more than 1,100 pieces spread across four campuses.

These works are not exhibited in a separate museum, but have been integrated into the living environment of staff and students.

Antwerp University would like to offer interested visitors the opportunity to enjoy its collection and the architecture of its buildings.

The City Campus tour begins in the historic 16th-century buildings in Prinsstraat. Furthermore, your guide will take you to the Aula Rector Dhanis (the largest on the City Campus), the buildings in Rodestraat, the former Grey Sisters' convent and Het Brantijser.

In addition to ancient and contemporary architecture, you will admire works by Luc Van Soom, Ysbrant, Philippe Aguirre, Sam Dillemans, color artist Perry Roberts, Fred Bervoets, Camiel Van Breedam, Jan Vanriet, Eugène Dodeigne, Yvan Theys, Johan Clarysse, ... among others.

Important:

  • On weekdays, between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.
  • It is possible that some buildings may not be accessible during a guided tour due to UA activities. Therefore, we ask you to first contact us at uantwerpen@kgva.be (Antwerp City Guides) and let us know in advance which group it is and on which day and hour you would like a guided tour. As soon as you receive confirmation, you can book the tour. However, if day and time are less convenient, we will contact you to try to find another date.
