Get to know the historic city center and pay an extended visit to St. Charles Borromeo's Church

Your guide leads you through the historic city centre. Starting at the Scheldt, the lifeline of our city, you walk along the Steen and the Vleeshuis (Butchers' Hall) to the Grote Markt with its magnificent city hall and guild houses. All these monuments bear witness to Antwerp's Golden Age. A detour along charming Vlaaikensgang offers you a magnificent view of the cathedral tower.

The highlight of this walk is St. Charles Borromeo's Church. Be overwhelmed by the very finest Baroque façade and enjoy the festive interior with the Lady Chapel as an example of pure Baroque. Your guide will tell you how important Rubens was for the decoration of this church.
