Who was Rubens? Although he was also active in Italy, Spain and England, and you can admire his work in all the world's great museums, this citizen of the world was first and foremost an Antwerp resident.
Together with your guide, you will take a walk through the centre of Antwerp in search of traces of Rubens and some of his contemporaries. You'll meet Jacques Jordaens and Antony Van Dyck, among others, and each will show a different aspect of Rubens. We end in the cathedral, where you come face to face with the best Rubens ever painted.
