Oosterweel connection - site visit by coach

A unique look at Belgium's largest infrastructure and livability project.

During this guided coach tour, you will explore the Oosterweel Connection construction sites on the Right Bank. From various observation towers, you get a fantastic view of the activities on the site. A certified Antwerp City Guide points out what you see and explains how the Oosterweel Connection completes and deepens the Antwerp Ringroad. Thanks to new tunnels, traffic largely disappears underground, freeing up space above for greenery and recreation. In this way, Antwerp neighbourhoods are reconnected.

• This tour is conducted using the group's own bus. The group is responsible for arranging its own bus transport. The bus must be equipped with a properly functioning microphone system.
• These tours are led by certified guides trained by Lantis, the contractor for the Oosterweel Connection.
• This tour is limited to the right bank only.

• Is this tour wheelchair accessible?
  No, you must be in shape to climb the stair towers. These are about 2 stories tall; there are no elevators.
• What is the maximum group size?
  For safety reasons, we can only accept groups of up to 49 people at a time. It is NOT possible to book 2 guides at the same time to accommodate a group of more than 49 people. For this you need to book 2 visits at different times.
