Gems between Berchem railway station and De Koninck brewery: a wonderful mix of culture and beer tasting
Between Berchem's train station and De Koninck's renovated city brewery, there is a lot to discover. During this guided walk you will learn all about the beautiful Zurenborg neighbourhood, the Green Quarter and much more.
You start in Zurenborg. This neighbourhood is famous for its art nouveau architecture. Then you walk under the railroad bridge. Ever heard of "Mokatines"? You will discover these coffee caramels during the walk. Via the ice factory we end up in the hip Green Quarter. Meanwhile, your guide tells you about the history of the Military Hospital. Via the architectural pearls of Helenalei and the beautiful building of 'Good Engels' we reach the interactive beer experience centre of De Koninck brewery.
