With the walk 'Kant en wal herschapen' you walk along the Scheldt bank, the Eilandje and the Seamen's Quarter. Meanwhile, your guide will tell you about the origins and growth of the historic districts along the Scheldt. Over the centuries, the banks, dunes and canals underwent a metamorphosis. You will discover parts of the castle wall, beautiful facades, strange street names, the picturesque Napoleonic docks....

The beautiful St. Paul's Church shines above nostalgic sailors' pubs, old warehouses and impressive harbour buildings. Future plans for this neighbourhood are also discussed during the "Bank and Embankment Recreated" walk. If you wish, your guide will take you through the Seamen's Quarterr and the red light district.
