Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance, Baroque, Rococo, Art Deco ... , Antwerp has all of these architectural styles.
During the Architectural Mosaic walk, these abstract terms will be discussed. Your guide will teach you to "read" the different styles based on the magnificent examples that Antwerp has to offer, such as Het Steen, the cathedral, the city hall, Saint Charles Borromeo's Church, the Boerentoren, the Royal Palace in the Meir... With a little practice, you will be able to tell the approximate century from which façades they originate.
The Architectural Mosaic walk is an original introduction to the most important buildings and squares of the old city. It goes without saying that this subject is ideal as an interactive walk.
